The unified voice of the licensed interior design community and associates is open to members of all interior design organizations, interior design students, unaffiliated designers, and trade/industry members. 

Douglas Feldman (Email Me)

President

Douglas Feldman, ASID, is a licensed interior designer, serving residential, commercial and corporate clients.  Douglas was awarded an MFA degree in theatrical design and art direction from NYU.  He began his professional design career in New York as a union scenic designer and art director for theater, television, and corporate theater (USA Local #829). Douglas is a Past President of ASID, Florida South Chapter and currently the President of IDAF (Interior Design Associations Foundation). His education and extensive professional background has provided him with a unique understanding of design disciplines including, space planning, furnishings, construction techniques, material specification, and lighting. Environmentally responsible design is introduced on every project.  

Whether addressing sustainability or Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) standards, materials and specifications are evaluated and discussed. He is also a member of the USGBC and Sustainable Furniture Council. To compliment his interior design projects, Douglas also provides consulting services on “Smart Home Technology” and provides commercial exhibit design services. Douglas also serves on the Board of Trustees of the North Broward Preparatory School and is active in the Delray Beach Riptide Lacrosse League.

Susan Morgan (Email Me)

President Elect

Susan Morgan is a Florida licensed Registered Interior Designer (RID), a professional member of ASID, of which she is a past president of the Florida South Chapter.  She has been on the ASID National Aging in Place Council.  She is certified by NCIDQ, a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, a LEED AP, and a certified Green Leader through the Sustainable Furnishings Council. She is an Allied Member of AIA, a member of the Treasure Coast Chapter of USGBC, a member of NKBA, the Sustainable Furnishings Council, and the Luxury Marketing Council. She currently is the President Elect for the Florida legislative coalition IDAF.

Local involvement in the community over the years has included; American Lung, YMCA, Humane Society, Martin County Council for the Arts, St Michael’s, Boys and Girls Club, Garden Club, Martin County Cancer Ward, American Cancer Society, and the American Red Cross. In 2004 Susan was the chairperson for the Medallion Awards and in 2007 Chapter Chairperson for the Treasure Coast Builders Association.  She has been a contributing designer for numerous showcase houses, “Cashel” and “Calypso Palms” to benefit the Children’s Home Society for which she won ASID Design Excellence Awards.     She has been on the Interior Design Advisory Board for Indian River State College.  

Lorraine Bragg is the Director of the Interior Design Department for Heery International’s Coral Gables office.. She has over 35 years experience in Commercial Interior Design since earning her Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Florida. Ms. Bragg has extensive experience in corporate, institutional and governmental projects and, additionally, has specialized in hospitality and resort development.

As the Director and Project Manager, Ms. Bragg is responsible for every step of the design process from marketing and client contact through programming, space planning, budgeting, design development, presentation, specification, production drawing, project administration, purchasing and installation.

She has been active in the South Florida design community serving, at different times, on the boards of ASID, IIDA, NEWH and IDAF. Her focus has been on education serving on the task force for CEU’s for the Board of Architecture and Interior Design; she also currently serves on the advisory boards to the Departments of Interior Design at Miami-Dade College and at Florida International University.
